Use Malayalam fonts in Photoshop

I am here to introduce a Software for you, which is known as TYPEIT!
I have seen some people are using character Map to write Malayalam in Photoshop, this is for them.
Actual use of this software is to write Malayalam through your keyboard, I am not here to talk about that.

You can use GOOGLE INPUT TOOLS to write Unicode Malayalam and use this Software to convert it to Malayalam font, I prefer to use FML Fonts for this purpose, if you don't have FML fonts I have provided it in the bottom.

Please see below screenshots to see the use of this software:

Copy the typed Unicode Malayalam from Google Input Tools by pressing Ctrl+C, open the TYPEIT! Software and select Convert > Paste from > 1. Unicode as shown in the below image.

it will show the copied word in the window, now again convert the word to FML as shown in the image or press Ctrl+G

Open Photoshop select type tool and paste it there, you will get something like this, my selected font was Arial in this.

Select the word and in the font selection type FML to view the installed FML fonts as shown below.

Here I selected the font FML-Sruthy, the final result is shown in below image

Workaround for WhatsApp 2.16.5 crash in iOS 9.3.2

Hey folks,
On my iPhone 6 auto update feature updated my WhatsApp to version 2.16.5 on May 31, 2016, after that moment whenever I tried to open my WhatsApp it shows a blank white screen and freezes for 4-6 seconds and returned to home screen.

workaround
after searching the internet I found a workaround to temporary fix this issue.
it is simple
Close the app via multitasking (double click home button and swipe away the whatsapp window)
Go to Settings>Whatsapp>switch off everything except  cellular data and notifications
Open whatsapp.

It should now respond hopefully (responded for me)

Now go to Settings>Whatsapp>and switch on everything

Open whatsapp again and it should work now.

UPDATE:  WhatsApp 2.16.6 fixed this problem, on  03 Jun 2016.

How to ROOT MicroMaX A350 (CANVAS KNIGHT)

Micromax Flagship Canvas Knight is an Android 4.4.2 Kitkat device. It is packed up with quite a good specification and is a great device. Before proceeding ahead, I would like to inform one thing that Rooting voids warranty.

Rooting has been always something confusing for all new users, but by following the guide below you can successfully root your device.


Our Android device can do a lot of awesome things, but for all of them the basic necessity is to ROOT our devices. Rooting is a process which helps us to gain Administrative access which further helps to modify system core files.

Many people say that they rooted up their device, but nothing happened, so I would like to point up a fact that rooting alone won’t help your device to do wonders but it helps you to give SUPERUSER Access which is required for special written apps.

So before proceeding towards the way to root your Canvas Knight, here are few items you need to download.

• Canvas Knight Root Package (92.2 MB)
• SuperSU (1.18 MB)

Make sure your device has at least 75% + battery and you have enabled USB Debugging, if not, go to settings–>Developer options.
If you don’t have developer option in your phone, please enable it by going to
Settings–>About phone–> tap the build number 7-8 times and that will enable Developer option.

Let’s begin the process...

1. Install the USB drivers if they are not already installed on your PC.
2. Extract out the files from root package.
3. Now Extract SP Flash tools and run Flash_Tool.exe as Administrator. (right click on file and select Run as administrator.)
4. Then click on the scatter loading button and select scatter file by name “MT6592_Android_scatter.txt”.
5. This will load up a new region below with lot of check boxes, un-check all other except “Recovery”.
6. Click on recovery and select the recovery.img which you can find in the Root package.
7. Now switch off your mobile.
8. Do not connect your mobile to PC.
9. Click on the Download button, after that connect your phone to PC via USB cable, in the bottom you can see the progress of this process, after success full operation a green ring will appear on your screen.
10. Now switch on your mobile and copy SuperSU.zip file to SD card.
11. Boot up into recovery mode, by simply pressing VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN and POWER BUTTON together.
12. Then select recovery mode by pressing volume down button and select install ZIP from SD card by pressing power button. (use volume rockers to navigate and power key to confirm)
13. Select the SuperSU.zip that you placed in your device and reboot your device.

 Your Knight is ready to rock, to check the root status download and check with root checker.

NOTE: This is the root guide for canvas knight running on KITKAT OS. Please don’t try this method on other devices or device running on JELLY BEAN.

I've noticed many of my friends are facing a problem, whenever they use their HDD or USB device in other computer, it will go blank and when they check the device's size it shows the same size as before, which means the data is there but it's hidden. It is because the files and folders in pendrive were changed to hidden by virus attack.

The simple solution is goto command prompt and type attrib *. -h -s -r /s /d h:\*.* assuming the drive is H:

If you thinks its complicated, then you can use my simple program (USB Rescuer) only to reveal hidden data and remove unwanted links from your USB device.

How to get gmail contacts on my iPhone?

Some of my friends was using Samsung, and they synchronized and keep updating their contacts with GMail. Now some of them bought Apple iPhone and wants to get their contacts from GMail server. They tried so many Apps for that and the funniest part is that, they spend money on some kind of apps to do the sync and failed to do that.

Here I am giving a easy way to the the Syncing. Please follow the Instructions given below.

1. Open settings
2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Tap Add Account,
4. Tap Other,
5. Tap Add CardDAV account.
6. Enter google.com for the server
7. Enter User Name and Password of your GMail Account.
8. Tap Done. 

 

Now go to your contact and watch the updated Contact list. (Give some time to the device to fetch your contacts from server) 

Note: You must need an active internet connection to update the contacts. :P

MADHURI for Windows,  helps you to draft letters in malayalam  without changing your keyboard. Please read the following instructions before downloading Madhuri.

Instruction for Windows- 2000/Me/XP/Vista

• Download the zip file.
• Extract it.
• This will Extract 3 files, Madhuri.exe. Achayan.dll, Mfc42.dll and folder called font.
• Install those fonts in to your computer. 
•  To do that copy those fonts and go to c:/windows/fonts > and paste it there.
• Create a shortcut on the Desktop by Click Right key of the mouse > New > Shortcut and Browse to Madhuri.exe
• Now you can start typing in 'Manglish' (Malayalam words in English Alphabet)  in the lower part of the Madhuri window. For Example copy "sathyamEva jayathE!" and paste in Madhuri.
• You can view Malayalam typing in upper part of the window
• Please note that you can't Format the letters in Madhuri; For this you have to copy the typed matter from the upper part (displayed in malayalam) and past in MS Word. After Pasting, Press Ctrl + A (Select all) and change the font to 'Kerala'. This helps you to Format your typings ( Format means: Increasing the font size, Bold, Italic, Underline and Alignment) Also note that you are not able to type directly in MS Word.  For that you have to come back to Madhuri.

Now you can stop unwanted promotional calls or messages on your Airtel mobile from telemarketers, advertising agency & etc., by registering yourself at NCPR (National Customer Preference Registry). How To Use GreenPois0n: The Quick Guide

1. Remember: greenpois0n is not an unlock, it is a jailbreak! (If you are unsure of the difference, stop reading now & become friends with a revolutionary new website called Google.)
